All People Tree online transactions are protected by the latest security technology. Your credit card information is encrypted to ensure your transactions with us are private and protected over the Internet. We accept orders only from web browsers that permit communication through Secure Socket Layer (SSL 128 bit) technology - this means you cannot inadvertently place an order through an unsecured connection. The encryption technique we use is the highest standard available for e-commerce and certified by VeriSign. For your added security, People Tree does not retain your payment card details. Of course, this does mean that you will have to enter the details every time you order, but also means no one else can use misuse your details. Your card details are passed directly to our card processing company, whose payment systems are secure to UK banking standards.

The UK Data Protection Act 1998 governs our data collection and storage.

We will not send you an email or a printed catalogue unless you agree to it. We will not pass on your personal details on to a third party for marketing purposes.
